Bush Furniture has come a long way since their humble start in Little Valley, NY over 50 years ago. They began by creating the first flat-packed hamper, which could be assembled by one person in less than a minute. From the success of the hampers, they were then inspired to create their first line of snap-together TV stands in 1972. Since then they have grown into an international success story in the RTA furniture market. Bush Industries is still headquartered in Jamestown, NY with manufacturing plants in New York, Pennsylvania, China and Germany.Read More

Altra Furniture Mason Ridge Mobile TV Stand in Cherry Finish

This Cymax rolling entertainment center/TV+entertainment system cart replaced a 5/6-year-old static stand that was beginning to
break. The Cymax stand supports our 40" flat panel on the top shelf, our HTIB, Blu-Ray, and satellite receiver on the second shelf, and our turntable and system power source/surge protector on the bottom shelf. It makes accessing the various connections of the systems components easy because it's on casters and can be easily moved, but can be made stationary by locking the tgwo front casters.
The only real drawbacks to the cart are
1) That the bottom shelf doesn't have enough room to open the clear plastic turntable cover and easily place an album on the platter; and,
2) There is no rear panel behind the top shelf, so the wires aren't hidden and some cabling is able to be seem; and,
3) While the cart is handsome enough, it would has been better to have had
a) an all-black option in addition the the wood grain-covered MDF used as shelving to allow it to blend better with a more modern, contemporary design environment; and
b) black as well as silvery-colored casters, for the same reason.
That said, its advantages outweighed its disadvantages, and we purchased and assembled it and are pleased with the result.
I would recommend this Cymax entertainment system cart for those wanting a handsome, sleek design that allows easy acces to system components.

Global Furniture Wide TV Stand in Wenge

I was looking for a TV stand over 6-ft long that was fairly modern. This is a great stand for the price - I did a lot of in-stor
e shopping at furniture chains (most were only 5-ft long, traditional, and over $500) and high-end Italian stores (long length, modern, and $1200+).It is darker than the picture (wenge, almost black) and the actual dimensions once assembled are 82" length, 23" depth, and 19" height[...]There is some minor assembly, and I did this by myself (female) in under and hour (most of the time was dealing with box and styrofoam cleanup). The 200-lb weight listed is probably the delivery weight, but the actual weight seems to be much less - I found it pretty easy to move this thing around on carpet. You have to flip it on it's side and screw in the legs and then flip it back and slide in the glass shelves in the middle sections and pop in the door fronts. Super easy. Looks great!
