Bush Furniture Infuse Wood 3 in 1 Flat Panel TV Stand in Espresso

My wife and I just bought the 3 in 1 table for our 50" a few weeks ago. We had the TV on a table and decided to mount it on the
stand provided. [...] There are over 30 steps to assemble it, so be ready to set aside the day. I recommend you use either a power screwdriver or a drill with a Phillips bit and slow setting. One person can put it together, but you definitely need a second person when it comes time to mount it. Also, I spent $3 on plastic slides for the legs (you will need 5 as the stand has 5 legs) so the stand could slid on the floor or carpeting. Well worth it if you consider that the total weight with t.v. was over 200 lbs! Now to be picky:When we mounted the TV, it turned out that each screw they sent needed one EXTRA washer to make sure the fit was tight and it swivels from left to right too easily for a 50" TV, but how often will you be turning it really? The glass table top piece also did not fit in place. I called Bush, and they seemed to be aware of the problem and they sent another one [...] That one still didn't really fit in place, but at that point we made due. Lastly the shelves are not adjustable and are not tall enough to place DVD's vertically as in many other TV stands, so if you want to store movies, they have to be laid down and stacked. Even with all I'm stating, please don't get me wrong - it's still a beautiful piece and once you mount the t.v. for some reason it does make the TV look bigger. In the end The pros outweigh the cons (however minor).

BDI Novia 8428 TV Stand

Nice product - ordered Friday night arrived following Thurs. Excellent packaging and protection; did not have any damage upon a
The 8428 accomodates my 4 components, playstation, large center channel, main spkrs, and 37in LCD. Selected this product over Diamond Case for price, availability, and overall design.
The smoked glass top insert does attract and show dust. Also, the component doors needed some adjustment to make them straight and level, but look and operate nominally after some fine tuning.
Beware that the casters are narrow and leave small grooves on my commercial grade hardwood finish when rolling the unit too much or too far. BTW, there are five adjustable round feet for semi-permanent use/placement.
The middle hinge assmebly broke immediatally upon opening the multi function cabinet door. Also, a few of the screw in metal shelf pegs were over-tightened and/or were 'glued' in place by the finish. One completely backed out the peg holder mounted in the wood itself. I called BDI directly to advise. They sent 2 new hinges, several shelf peg assemblies, and wood glue to repair. BDI was aware of the problem and quickly sent replacement parts FOC. The hinge was replaced with ease but have not repaired the shelf holders since everything is alreay set up and running in place.
