Valencia 51-87" Enclosed Cabinet

I really like the looks of this unit (I purchased the black). Solid as a rock even fully extended. Nicely crafted. Many compleme
nts. However, this is very very heavy.
There are four small roller wheels on the bottom of each wing and roller tracks on the underside of the top wing pieces. The wheels ease the effort to slide the wings out on a hardwood floor. However, on carpet it is not that easy because of the weight. Be sure to wipe these wheels off with a paper towel or a rag. They are nothing more than a small roller bearing with shields. So, they are greasy from assembly. The rollers on the underside of the top of the wings are to keep the wings in alignment while extending or contracting.
There was a block of wood shipped with the unit that was about a foot long and three inches square (stained to match). Not sure what it is for? There were no instructions. I slid it under the front and center of the unit for extra support (not that it needs it).
The only assembly was the chrome handles onto the four doors.
The back panel is where you need to take care. There are about twenty screws holding the panel on. Not all of the screws were holding great. They only need to be lightly snug.
The four compartment are roomy enough for my big amp and all of my other audio and video gear.
The reason for the four stars instead of five was because of the installation of the screws on one of the hinges for a door (multiple attempts) and on the rear panel where four of them were over tightened to the point of striping out the wood.
Overall, I am very happy with it. It really is a nice unit.

VTI Three Shelf 50 inch Black TV Stand with Black Glass

Product used to hold : 5100 Series Monster Power Center, Denon AVR, Denon DVD, HD Cable box and eventual CD player.Weight of pro
duct was a bit of a surprise. Once assembled product can only be moved a shelf at a time since they do not attach but rather rest on each other via the spiked columns.I therefore purchased casters to that I could move the entire unit at one time. Unit is Metric not US so no luck at [...], [...] or any other local store on [...]. Had to order casters from specialty company.Assembly is almost zero and that is a good thing since they provided no instructions. However, I still have not figured out how the screen fits on the back of the unit for cord managment. The unit is black, my components are black and the wall color is dark so cords do not get seen much. So I am not really motivated to struggle with figuring the screen out.I am pleased with the order I just wish up front it had:Instructions for all facets of assemblyCastors designed for the unit available to purchase at time of unit purchase.
